This fall, I spent a few days while the weather was mild, hunting ducks.  While I never fired my shotgun one afternoon, I did bring my camera along to pass the time.

A little bit closer…

On occasion, bats fall into our fireplace.  This little guy spent 2 days locked in there before we managed to catch and release him.  After being locked up for such a long period of time left him a bit dehydrated, so he stuck around for a few drinks of water.

A recent outbuilding removal uncovered these slimy, yet interesting slugs.

It has been 4 months since I took my first step into the world of blogging.  I found it a creative way to  document my journey with Multiple Sclerosis.  My orginal blog was intended to be private, a diary of sorts to keep track of my progress, however it became a great medium to keep family and friends updated.  Now, after digging out my camera, I found that I would love to document my other thoughts, views and visual perceptions that manifest through the lens of my camera.

One of the intoductory lines from my other blog also seems very appropriate in this place also.

Joker, at 12 years old, still remains photogenic.  These were taken July 6, 2008 during our yard sale, while Joke was patiently awaiting to begin his “job” as the official yard sale Welcome Commitee.
